These Terms govern your access to and use of GotLaid (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use GotLaid. Recruiters must sign up using a legitimate corporate email and represent that they are authorized to recruit on behalf of their company.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- Provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current.
- One account per person. Sharing credentials is prohibited.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present risk to other users.
3. Candidate content
You retain ownership of your profile content (resume, work history, links). By posting it, you grant GotLaid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it to verified recruiters and to process it as needed to operate the Service.
4. Recruiter conduct
- Use candidate information only for bona fide hiring purposes.
- Do not scrape, bulk-export, resell, or share candidate data with third parties.
- Comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws in every jurisdiction in which you recruit.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, role, employer, or qualifications.
- Post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or misleading content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or circumvent its access controls.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages or otherwise misuse outreach features.
6. Fees
Candidate accounts are free. Some recruiter features may be offered on a paid basis in the future; pricing and billing terms will be presented at the point of purchase.
7. Intellectual property
The Service itself, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by GotLaid and protected by applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. GotLaid is a discovery platform — we do not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcome. We disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GotLaid's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) fees paid by you to GotLaid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GotLaid is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
